Did the pilgrims have the Bubonic Plague on the Mayflower?

i need an answer in detail

Did the pilgrims have the Bubonic Plague on the Mayflower?
No. The bubonic plague is nearly 100% contagious in close quarters like they had aboard ship and the symptoms that colonists died from did not match those of plague.

From what I've read, the fever that killed most of the colonists (over 50 the first winter) was characterized by high fever and delirium and lethargy. There's no mention of coughing and pneumonia. I'm not sure the specific illness has ever been identified, but it wasn't bubonic plague which is easily recognized and has different symptoms.
Reply:I know of no reason to think they would have, it isn't recorded that they did, and I also don't know of any outbreak of plague in the colony. The Bubonic Plague was eradicated in London shortly after the Mayflower's voyage by the Great Fire.
