Moving: Of the major national movers (e.g., Mayflower, Allied, etc.): who has the best reputation?

I'm not so much concerned with saving money but I do want my stuff to arrive unbroken, unpilfered through, and on-time. This is for a cross-country move. Thanks in advance.

Moving: Of the major national movers (e.g., Mayflower, Allied, etc.): who has the best reputation?
I've moved with Mayflower, American, Red Ball, Allied, Global and Paul Arpin. Of these movers, I have to say Allied Van Lines did a wonderful job, came in at exactly the price they quoted, had only minor damage which they took care of repairing and did a great job packing the delicate collectibles and antiques.
Reply:most of the large van lines contract with companies in different areas with some sort of franchaise agreement. you would need to check with the BBB in a particular area.
