Reply:The pilgrims were not illegal immigrants; they were settlers to the new world escaping the tyranny of the old. They accomplished much in an uncharted and untamed land and no they didn't kill of the indians to accomplish this. As for taxation, it would be years before a war was fought to relieve us of the high, unfair and imposed taxes on the colonies. We thought we had won but yet, the issue of taxation still lingers. I really hate UGLY and some of the remarks here are not too pretty.

Reply:Well, some people says our school are filled with "immigrants", health care is saturated with these people and so on..BUT if they rent a place,they pay the tax who goes to the city and schools. Also they can, and they do (more than a half) pay their income tax by 1040 or 1099, but HOW? simple the IRS gives them a tax number (ITIN) by filling the W-7 form.I know this because I'm a tax preparer.
