How was alice mullins life before the mayflower?

Very little is known about Mrs. Alice Mullins. She is named in the will of William Mullins, which he had written for him on the day of his death, 21 February 1620/1. A number of sources claim her name was Alice Atwood, or Alice Poretiers, but these claims have no basis.

http://members.aol.com/calebj/mullins.ht... the only information seems to be from the life of her husband William Mullins. I hope this helps.
Reply:Why don't you do a search on Alice Mullins? Or are you thinking someone will know and do your Homework? for you? Like who would know her life much less know that she was one of the passengers with her husband William and several children on the Mayflower. She and her husband both died the first year in the New Country ,her husband,William preceding her. I couldn't find much of anything on her except born in 1575 around Dorkey,Surrey,England.Considering that just about all were on the Mayflower and the other 2 ships to find a better life in the New World doubt her life was that great-probably poor and in those days in England and most European countries the poor were very poor with no chance of improving very much their lot in life. Why starting over in the New World would draw them for it was a chance for opportunity-where in England there were none only the same old drudgery day after day. One of her daughters, Priscilla married John Alden-made famous in a poem. I asked the question Who was Alice Mullins to get the little info that I passed on to you.
