Anyone know what type of Solex carb should be fitted to a Triumph Mayflower?

I need pieces for it but I cannot see the type marked anywhere on it - it's from a 1953 Mayflower. Does anyone know? It's not mentioned in the manual I have for it (believe it or not!).

What parts do you need if in the uk its no problem The Mayflower used the same solex as the whole triumph dolomite range.Try the Triumph mayflower club site.Regards mick
Reply:Umm, I thought the carbs on Dolomites were SU's - I have a Dolomite 1500HL with twin SU's, and I know someone who has a Mayflower and they are totally and utterly different. The SU's have dashpots for starters!!! Bit of a give away........so sorry, Mick - I have to disagree with you. Report It

Reply:If you can't find one try a carb from a herald 13/or dolomit 15 with single carb. or get a copy of practical classic.
Reply:I think you should take off the May flower name on that car because other wise people may look at you funny!
Reply:what the.......
Reply:I had one of these about 40+ years ago! Try for your parts here--
